The MSIT facilities offer us a unique opportunity to bring to you a range of workshops and seminars not previously possible. As such the emphasis on the next HOTD is one of teaching and incouraging creativity through not just seminars with inspirational speakers, but also a range of workshops demonstrating a variety of subjects from hands on Mac & Windows computer workflow and retouching, to studio lighting techniques in dedicated photography studios, outdoor portraiture with portable lighting and more. Some of you may have already been there if you attended the 2009 Qld Professional Photography Awards.

The program promises to offer as wide a range of photographic topics as possible and is being designed to appeal to all photographers, not just the wedding and portrait fraternity.  Some of our speakers include; Rocco Ancora, Victor Natoli, Darren Jew, Les Walkling, Robyn Hills, Jasin Boland, Darren Leal, Russell Shakespeare and Cameron Attree and many more. We are still signing up the last few of our speakers and as soon as we have our paperwork completed, the names will be included on the Registration form with full details on this web site.

As always everyone is welcome, members and non members alike and photographers of all abilities
, both Professional and Amateur. You just need the love of photography and the desire to learn more of your craft along with like-minded people.
